Inspire
Dennis Sponsel is the owner of RJE Business Interiors, an Indianapolis-based company just blocks from the heart of downtown. This business bakes chocolate chip cookies in the office, leaves candy and a card at installs, and makes it a priority to give back to local schools like IU Indianapolis. His track record suggests a much more compassionate business professional than we typically see in today’s media. Sponsel is a board member of over a dozen charitable organizations, including United Way, American Red Cross, and Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. He is also a recipient of the IU Keystone Award and the IU Spirit of Philanthropy Award.
The IU Indianapolis Division of Undergraduate Education and its University College unit serve as the epicenter for programs and initiatives that help to ensure access to higher education in Indiana for all students. Once admitted, the division’s student support services play a pivotal role in helping to provide a smooth transition into college life and a solid foundation for academic success for all undergraduate students. Students are offered top-notch academic advising, opportunities for student employment, and support programs for traditionally underrepresented student groups and adults returning to the university to complete their degrees.
Establish your legacy
Education changes the way we view ourselves and our role in the world. The Division of Undergraduate Education is the effective driver in meeting the needs of students while believing in the power of philanthropy as a means to achieve local and national goals that improve our social environments.
Donor stories
Students often struggle to pay for the classes, fees, books, and other expenses that are inherent with attending college. The Division of Undergraduate Education believes in students and their potential to succeed in college. Being a donor means making a difference in a student's life.
