Tradara McLaurine has been selected as IUPUI’s senior executive director of Campus Career and Advising Services.
McLaurine, who will begin her role with IUPUI on Nov. 1, will lead campuswide initiatives in career services and academic advising, including training and professional development, technology adoption and utilization, outcomes assessment, and internship best practices coordination. She will also provide strategic oversight for the advising and career education units within University College, including the Office of Academic and Career Development, the Office of Student Employment, the Center for Transfer and Adult Students, and the Life–Health Sciences Internship Program.
“Tradara brings a track record of success in advancing data-informed, collaborative, campus-level initiatives that improve the undergraduate student experience and prepare them for success after graduation,” said Matthew Rust, assistant dean of University College. “I’m confident that Tradara will develop creative new ways to support the integrated work of our academic advisors and career services professionals who are so critical to our students’ success.”
