A GCDF is a person who works in any career development setting or who incorporates career development information or skills in their work with students, adults, clients, employees, or the public.  Each staff member in Career Development received in-depth training in the areas of career development in the form of up to 120+ class/instructional hours, provided by a nationally trained and qualified instructor. Competencies include: helping skills, models of career development and assessment, diverse populations, managing and communicating career and labor market information, and career programming managements. This professional designation and its accompanying training were developed by the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and certified by the Center for Credentialing and Education(CCE).

Congratulations to IUPUI's newest Global Career Development Facilitators, Tracie Lowe, Colleen Rusnak, Ed Squires, and Jill Vanderwall and newest Global Career Development Facilitator Instructors, Missy Cooper and Jennifer Schott.
