INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 2011) – IUPUI University College has received two creative marketing awards from Hermes Creative Awards which are administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMPC). The Link magazine, winter 2011 issue, was the recipient of a gold award, the second highest award.
The Link magazine is devoted to the success of pre-college and first-year college students. It is published three times a year and is web-based with issue one each year also available in print. SPOTS was a free coupon book given to incoming freshmen of 2010. It will now be supported by Indiana University’s Oncourse web tool and provide all IUPUI students.
“Integrated communications is highly complicated and competitive. Done right, the integration of communications can become the strongest component of any enterprise,” said Harriett Bennett, assistant dean of University College. “Winning the international competition for IUPUI and University College is an endorsement of our commitment to supporting education in all endeavors.”
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that gives awards for projects that possess creative concepts, exceptional writing and design, and emerging technology.
