Recognizing dedication to students
The DUE Epitome Award was created to honor faculty and staff that are dedicated to student success and have made a positive impact. This award is unique among other campus awards in that it is based solely on student nominations. The Epitome Award recognizes one person from the following three categories:
- Research faculty (full-time tenure track faculty)
- Teaching faculty (part-time and/or full-time nontenure track faculty)
- Staff
Nominees receiving the greatest number of votes will be selected for the award and be recognized at the Division of Undergraduate Education Spring Awards Convocation.
Eligibility
All full-time or part-time IU Indy staff and faculty members are eligible to be nominated.
Award
Recipients will be recognized at the Division of Undergraduate Education Spring Awards Convocation and receive a plaque to mark this recognition.
Nomination Process
Students may nominate staff or faculty via this form during the nomination period. Students will be asked to provide their nominee’s email, their category (Research or Teaching faculty, or staff), and will be asked to write a small blurb about why they chose their designated nominee.
